Kathy Ankrom

ACE-CPT,  Diet Logic Manager, Certified TRX, Active Aging, and Elite Coach

Kathy is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Master Trainer and Lifestyles Technologies Weight Management Agent and Lifestyle Management Coach. She is a lifelong sports enthusiast, business owner, personal trainer, and 1990s competitive bodybuilder. With more than 37 years of continuing education and industry certifications and a career-long emphasis on therapeutic training, injury prevention, and recovery, her true passion is designing active aging programs.

Kathy specializes in strength training and weight loss programs. She enjoys teaching Elite Team, Barbell Pump, Aging Fit Cardio, QUEENAX Indoor training Studio, TRX Suspension, Battle ropes, and kettlebell classes.

Training Hours: M-R, 8:30-2:00 pm & Virtual

Amelia is very passionate about the fitness industry. With knowledge in nutrition and body building, she can help you build the body of your dreams. She is very dedicated to making women feel comfortable in their bodies. Amelia specializes in building muscle while losing body fat. Let Amelia help you reach your dream body.

Charlene has worked at Shapes for the past 6 years and has been an NFCT Certified Personal Trainer for 20+ years. With 30+ years in the fitness industry, she specializes in working with women of all ages and levels.

Having lost weight herself, Charlene has changed her lifestyle and has become passionate about coaching and training others on their wellness journey.  Let Charlene help you with your journey.

Mary Pat McGuire

Head Coach- Shapes Fitness for Women,  ACE-CPT, AFAA GX Instructor, Certified Real Ryder, TRX, Barre, Pilates, Active Aging & Elite Coach

With over 30 years in the fitness industry and 15 of those years at Shapes as a head coach, instructor, and a Shapes Academy presenter, Mary Pat is a fitness enthusiast who loves to motivate and mentor.

She is a marathoner, triathlete, and adventure racer who thrives on helping women achieve their personal best. Her specialties include nutrition and fitness programs that combine realistic timelines and results-oriented training. Mary Pat’s motto is MODERATION and BALANCE.

Diane Fowler

NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Elite Coach, SCW Aqua Instructor, Group Exercise Instructor

Diane is a native of Florida, who spent 22 years in the Carolinas before returning to Florida with her husband and son. She began her fitness instructor journey in Greenville, SC in 2001, leading Jazzercise classes. In 2011, her family moved back home to Florida where her love for fitness grew into more than just group exercise.

Diane received her NASM Personal Trainer Certification in 2012. Her passion now is to teach, train, and uplift women in their fitness journeys. Her specializations are building strong core muscles and lean muscle mass, weight loss, and designing a workout plan that fits each person’s lifestyle.

Collene Miller (aka Killer Miller)

Shapes Personal Trainer, SCW Aqua Instructor, Active Aging & Cycle Coach

Collene has been with Shapes for over 25 years and enjoys working with those that have goals and has a genius for getting members to know other members. She brings joy to all her classes and clients with a contagious friendly personality.

Collene is an active cyclist and loves to camp. When she is not motivating members,  she loves spending time with her five grandchildren.

Tajauna is an avid runner, half-marathoner and a tenacious fitness enthusiast that has participated in several obstacle races such as the Tough Mudder, Spartan, and Ragnar Relay.  She’s been a member of the Shapes family for over 10 years and recently joined the training team in 2022.

Her philosophy is that exercise is a celebration of where your body has been and where it is going in the future. Life can be hectic and it’s tough to find time to work out. Let Tajauna help you design a program that is manageable and enjoyable.

Ann owns two Shapes Fitness for Women franchises in Tampa Bay. She is the Program Director and Master Trainer for WATERinMotion.

Ann was awarded Trainer of the Year in 2001.

She is a speaker at industry conventions since 2002.

Client safety is the governing principle of the Shapes® Personal Training Program. The Shapes® Personal Training staff follow standards that have been established by following “PT Best Practices”. The following guidelines ensure that our members are reaching their personal goals in a safe personal training environment.

Shapes® Personal Trainers Will Not:

  • Diagnose disease or provide treatment protocols for injuries
  • Recommend specific supplements, medicine or curative practices to members for specific illness, injury or health conditions unless the Personal Trainer has additional and necessary credential/certifications
  • Train members with a serious diagnosed chronic health condition unless they have specifically trained and been certified to provide training to individuals with such conditions or are following the prescribed and supervised by a physician.
  • Begin training with a member until you have completed a comprehensive health history form.
  • Offer specific or individualized nutritional advice, unless they have been specifically certified and trained to do so.
